Oil portrait commissions

Medium

Each portrait is created using professional artist-quality, water-mixable oil paints, chosen for their rich colour, durability, and lasting finish.

Subjects I Can Paint

Each painting is created using a reference photograph provided by you.

I currently offer:

  • One-person oil portraits

  • Two-person portraits, available for an additional fee

  • Pet portraits with either a simple, single-colour background or a background inspired by your reference photograph

  • Portraits of favourite actors, musicians, public figures, or other people who inspire you

Clear, high-quality reference photographs will help me capture the details and personality of the subject as accurately as possible.

Each commission request is considered individually, and I reserve the right to decline projects that are not a suitable match for my artistic style or creative approach.

Pricing

Commission prices start from:

  • 20.4 × 20.4 cm: from 100£

  • 24 × 30 cm: from 200£

  • 40 × 50 cm: from 300£ 

Shipping costs are not included in the prices above and will be added to the final total based on the delivery location and size of the painting.

Please note that framing is not included, and all commissions are supplied unframed.

What You Need to Provide

Please provide a clear, high-resolution photograph, ideally taken with a good-quality camera or smartphone. Images with good lighting and visible facial details will produce the best results.
You are welcome to send the photograph you would like me to use, and I will assess whether it is suitable as a reference. Minor adjustments may be made in Photoshop to improve the composition, lighting, or overall clarity before painting begins.

Processing and Delivery Times

Oil paintings require sufficient time to dry and be varnished before they can be safely packaged and shipped. This process helps protect the artwork and ensures a high-quality, lasting finish.

For commissions needed by a specific date, please submit your enquiry at least 2–3 months in advance to allow enough time for painting, drying, varnishing, and delivery.

How It Works

1. Submit your commission request together with your reference photographs, colour palette inspiration, and any other images or details that help communicate your vision for the painting.

2. I will review your request and discuss the details with you via email. Once we agree on the concept, I will require a 30% deposit before starting the painting.

3. Once the painting is complete, I will send you a final photograph for approval. After you have approved the artwork, I will provide a payment link for the remaining balance, including the shipping cost.
